Whats the best relationship advice you've ever been given?

Just curious. :)

My brother told me to have patience and always respect another persons feelings and opinions, even when you disagree.

i love my oldest brother....now if only he would visit more than once every 4 to 5 years.Whats the best relationship advice you've ever been given?
';Never fall in love. In fact, just be a nun';.

The wise words of my mother.Whats the best relationship advice you've ever been given?
As women, we're always analyzing and ';reading in'; to the things men say.

I'm 25 and happily married; I'd have to say the best advice that I've ever been given is to never ';read in';, ';read out';. Take a man at his word. If a man tells you something; believe him. It's not code for something else or what we want it to be.
Not to get too infatuated. As in, not needing to spend every minute together. Live your own lives away from each other too so that way you never get bored with each other, you'll always have something to talk about.

%26amp;%26amp; to just be yourself, always, and if they don't like it, they aren't worth your time(:
Love is love, and there is no way to stop it from happening. Everybody needs a somebody, so if you fall in love, don't be scared of it. There will always be people that hurt you, but there will also always be somebody there for you. Love is our strongest passion, and our greatest fault.
never get married, oh and dont look at another girl with your girlfriend watching u lol, and love can turn in a snap, no point in living with out love, nothing is totally happy unless u share it with someone

it funny becuase im 13 and iv bin told this and way more
1. Never change for anyone, and don't expect them to change for you.

2. Actions speak louder then words.

3. Everything happens for a reason.

Thats the best I've said to anyone lol.

Help me please(:?

The one that always pops into my mind is; ';The person who's heart is the least involved is in control of the relationship.'; I don't know if it's the BEST advice I've ever gotten but it's definitely one of the most important.
i was told that my responsibility in any relationship is not how that person treats me, but how i treat that person, to put their needs before my own. basically to be unselfish. just think if everyone did that!?
';actions speak louder than words.';

soooo true. the best way to tell if someone is lying is by looking at their actions. ';i love you'; is not that hard to say unless you're actually in love. you have to see if they show it.
to simply know when to call it quits. sometimes it is better to walk away than to try and force it to be better.
that its not like it is in the movies, and that us guys are really emotionally dumb and insensitive and that girls don't always say what they mean...
its a waste of time going after someone who is not even intrested in you/dont care about your feelings or whatever. Because there is always someone who likes you for you.
I like this guy and someone told me:

If he noticed you it should be obvious after this, now lets see what happens next time you happen to see each other.
The best advice I ever had was to be with a person you trust and don't try to change someone if you can't agree with what they do.
Communication!!!! Without communication there is no trust, without trust you pretty much have nothing. It starts a snow ball effect.
***** love before it ***** you ;)

answer mine :)?

Everything happens for a reason :D
Sit back and wait for girls to show interest in you, rather than vice versa, and you will never be foiled.
';NEVER LEAVE SOMEONE WHO LOVES YOU FOR SOMEONE YOU LIKE';
always think twice never once. time goes by.
no matter what will happen, it will always be worth it.
Never give up :3
lie
dont give up on someone you cant go a day without thinking about
to be honest...
care for the one you love and never stop
