This is very comforting to me:
';Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven.'; (Matthew 5:11-12)
When you are trying to be kind and helpful, and people say you are bad for doing so, don't worry at all. Jesus himself says not to. That is a very sweet thought.
