What advice can you offer me regarding my school's spelling bee which is tomorrow?

I'm going to be taking part in the Spelling Bee at my school tomorrow and I was wondering what sort of words come up. I've never taken part in a Spelling Bee before and I only signed up for it yesterday. I've been on timesspellingbee.com but I'd really like to know the exact type of words that come up for 17 year olds.

I'd really appreciate any help you can offer me. =]What advice can you offer me regarding my school's spelling bee which is tomorrow?
It's tomorrow, so your prep is basically done.

Get a good night's sleep, eat a solid breakfast, but not one that might make you go to the bathroom.

When it comes your turn, always take every option offered, even if you're sure you know the word. If the say the word is ';torture,'; ask for a definition, and ask them to use it in a sentence. It might be ';someone who spear fishes at night with a light source. It was low tide on the island, and a lone torcher picked his way along the reef.';What advice can you offer me regarding my school's spelling bee which is tomorrow?
Here's a link to a video that has some good spelling tips. It shouldn't matter what kind of words you are given if you can follow basic rules of spelling.

It's a Peanuts video, btw.

I'd recommend studying common SAT vocabulary. If you had more time to prepare, it would be helpful to learn prefixes, suffixes, and root words.
i would study larger sat like words that are bound to show up because you are in a higher grade level
