in general, people who are older dont want to hear advice from younger people lol. that's the one perk of getting older - people think you are wiser lol. you lose looks and the fun of being younger but they have ';seniority'; in life lol. i'm 28 btw.
i consider myself to be a very open minded person and i would definitely listen to the insight of someone younger. however whether the person is younger or older you always have to be careful who you dispense ';advice'; to. a lot of people get their pride easily hurt when they feel like someone is at all acting like a know-it-all or telling them what to do, no matter what their age.Do you have a hard time taking advice from people younger than you?
That's a great question, and yes I do. I feel like I should already know these things, so it really isn't personal against the younger person. It's just a pride thing. Sometimes though, they do have some good advice, and I do take it and carry it with me. So thanks to all the young uns out there.
Yes. I don't try to be that way. Its just natural for me not take advice from people younger than me. We are raised being told that the older you are the wiser you are so often we don't accept advice from people younger than us. I usually only take advice from elders.
sometimes.it depends on the individual. if i know that they have gone through the same thing and whatnot i tend to gie them more credit than the people who just talk to hear their own voices and to feel superior
Father Time is younger than me,but I have no problem with it,long as they are respectful and not rude.
I don't need advice.
no not if they know something i don't and have expereinced something i have not.
No. Just as long as their advice is actually good and helpful, I don't care.
What advice could they give me? They have no life experience whatsoever. I'll never take advice from a youngin.
young people don't give me advice....
Nope, age has nothing to do with insight.
Yes, because I should be more knowledgeable than them.
