- Will you be marketing / selling a good or a service?
- What industry / market segment do you wish to service (IT, FMCG, Agri Business, etc)
- What is the growth potential of your chosen market segment / industry?
- What is the barrier to entry in that particular market segment? (high capital investment, technical skill, etc)
- Who are the major players in that industry? Who are your major competitors?
- What is the major cause of success / failure of your competition?
- What is the value-add that YOU will bring in? (efficient costing, lower prices, addressing an unfulfilled need, etc)
- How do you plan to finance your overheads until your product or service is able to generate profits?
- What is the COST of getting loans, financing from financial institutions for establishing your business?
