PLEASE ADVICE..PROFESSIONAL ADVICE PLEASEDo you advice me to buy the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GLS 1.5L?
You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carquotes.fateback.comDo you advice me to buy the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GLS 1.5L?
Okay, let's tackle those one-by-one.

1. Yes, it's a reliable car.

2. It can go up steep hills (up to about 35-40 degrees), as long as it is on tarmac.

3. The 2.0L variant can do more than 9km/L (~22mpg) in city driving. The 1.5L variant should be a bit more economical, although if you're expecting more oomph, then the consumption may end up the same.

4. To power a 1200kg platform, the 1.5L engine is probably enough to get you around. Don't expect it to be a performer, though.

5. The Civic 1.8L has an extra 31hp, and it does 12km/L (~29mpg) in city driving. If you need the extra space, then I suggest you go for the Civic. I would also like to recommend the Corolla Altis, which has more boot space than both the Civic and Lancer.
